Do not use milk, antacids, honey, lemon juice, onions, vinegar, urine, baking soda or anything other than clean water to deal with tear gas or pepper spray.

Most of the time it’s best to just do nothing.

It’s common and sort of understandable to see Miller as this evil genius. Important to remember he’s actually a complete fucking moron who, when he got a chance, immediately engineered a PR disaster that shitcanned Trump’s best-polling issue. Always the way with these types.

It isn't just Bovino. This is the same playbook we've seen in Portland and Chicago: ICE comes in, hurts people, generates outcry, pulls out again and heads somewhere they can pick on people who are less organized and less angry.

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

This isn't "I told you so" from radicals, though I'm still angry about the vitriol transfems in particular caught for pointing out the obvious.

It is far past time to listen to the people who consistently warned about what we're facing now rather than those who got it badly wrong again and again.
Trying not to be bitter about being yelled at for years about how bad I was for saying the Democratic Party was completely ill equipped to handle the rise of fascism by the same people who suddenly have realized the Democratic Party is completely ill equipped to handle the rise of fascism

I'm just annoyed that all of us who have been right about everything for 10 years, now have to coddle the people just now realizing the reality of our situation. I do think it's important that people who have been wrong all along and especially those who were a part of the ideology that led us

This is the exact same for lower level abusers too. My abusers were often very smart, good looking, and connected. They could have had consenting sex with enthusiastic partners. They preferred abuse. I call them rape-sexual
Here's the thing about Neil Gaiman. He knows what consent is. He knows about power differentials. He KNOWS. And with his money and fame, he could have had all the consensual sex and BDSM he wanted. He did what he did because he LIKED the power. He LIKED getting away with it. He LIKED hurting women.

i like how "is the director of ice a fascist" is a question the media is trying to answer by decoding whether his stupid ass trenchcoat was inspired by the nazis and not by like, him leading a paramilitary force of masked thugs terrorize people in the name of a reactionary authoritarian regime

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.
