This is a very important legal case, whereby the enforcement of equal human rights for trans ppl, ruled by the European Court of Human Rights, is actually carried out by the British govt. Having not done so, as legally required, brings the British state into disrepute, & undermines human rights.

Actually gay people demanded action even when it was controversial. ACT UP was one of the greatest examples of direct action protesting and that happened in the 90’s back before you were “demystified”, and it was equally radioactively controversial.
