I write stories about the sickness of the mind and it's why I'm so latched on to Pluribus like a, shall we say... parasite.

More Pluribus thoughts, as if the collective's goals were clear enough already to understand how it views and sees Carol.
(Biological Imperative - to live at all costs, among one, among many, among all. A parasite God and what is the cost of that?)
"It is far, far easier to let you think you are in control, than it is for me to ask you to smile."

Pluribus thoughts:
From the perspective of the "Collective" (The biological imperative)
"Your plan to escape the collective is as insane as my plan to live amongst it. That makes us enemies."

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

that's definitely true about information. I was thinking the analogy is more to text, since after chatgpt came out, it's pretty much impossible to get a corpus of text from the internet that doesn't include synthetic text

Pluribus thought:

Keep in check, a chess term sounds like to me, "Keep the King busy."
The "Collective" is keeping Carol busy, why? Obviously we know they're doing something, but 'just checking in on you Carol' is very much going to keep Carol busy and engaged with what the collective needs.

I just realized that we’re seeing a cultural wave of people with no empathy and that ties in directly with this. Of course they don’t relate to anybody other than what they are spoonfed to relate to.

Imagine somebody sharing a story about something that happened to themselves, but you stop them and say, I can’t relate to you so I’m not gonna listen, and you walk away.

this is pretty solid spiritual advice tbh

“Be prudent, be wise, be careful that your use of AI does not limit your true human growth. Use it in such a way that if it disappeared tomorrow, you would still know how to think, how to create, how to act on your own, how to form authentic friendships.”
Pope Leo XIV told students not to use artificial intelligence for homework, saying that AI ‘won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation.’

Liberals love budget time because they picture themselves as the stern dad making tough calls on pocket money and not the miserable ghouls culling the poor that they are

By killing yourself with the killing yourself robot you have broken the terms of service which say not to kill yourself with it
Additionally, OpenAI argues its not liable because Raine, by using ChatGPT for self-harm, broke its terms of service

What does and I mean what should "Your choices are your own." sound like when it's someone asking you directly for help?

To me it reads as "You can do something, help me (help us)."
It also reads as, "You can help yourself."
It means, "You are in charge here."
It means "Do something for fuck sake."

Invert the words the collective is saying to Carol.

More on this later.

There must be no sorrow for fault in the time of change, only radical acceptance and the willingness to shift upward, not back down the hole we've been fighting in alone.

The decline of religion as a source of meaning in people's lives remains underrated as a factor shaping society. The need doesn't go away - they just seek it out elsewhere in (often false) health/wellness beliefs, (often highly polarized/conflictual) politics, etc. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/25/o...
