Not been - is it worth a visit?

Just tried to go to a cafe, the doors were open so we went in. They said, Sorry, we don’t open until 10, can you wait outside please? I checked the time, it was 9.59.

That level of unwelcoming pettiness is not a place I want to spend any time.

Strong recommend (as is nearby Maastricht). I'm sure there's somewhere close by in Belgium to make it a 3-country 3-centre trip!

Stopped the night in Aachen recently en route to a funeral in Cologne. Had always wanted to see Cathedral but knew it wouldn't be open early enough. As we walked past we noticed that the door was ajar. We went in: an elderly gent beckoned us into the chapel and gave us a quick tour. #visitaachen

I've been to a few exhibitions at the Weston recently and without fail they have been a) exceptional b) exceptionally understated. I'm sure this one will be the same.

If you haven't been to @bodleian.ox.ac.uk #Tradecraft exhibition yet it is well worth a visit. Splendid to behold!

Thanks to Richard Ovenden, co-curators - Federico Varese and Jessica Douthwaite and Mick Herron.

The photography in this article really feels like The Times are deliberately setting these people up for ridicule. (You can read it without visiting The Times here archive.ph/KZZC1)
An article from The Times: "Meet the young Tories dreaming of a bright blue future". Featuring bizarre portraits of Charles Amos, Rhys Benjamin and Daniel Campbell.

Reminds me of my grandfather who applied to the Bolivian army after the Australian army rejected him (they wouldn’t have him either)
