Here's a sneak preview of something I've been working on for my current environment piece 👀 Using Vertex Painting to paint in brush strokes and add more variation to large surfaces. I'll probably create a little showcase video for my next blog post to show it in action 😄 #UnrealEngine

One is orange, the middle purple and the other blue. Each represent the Mage specialisations in World of Warcraft (the main inspiration behind this art). There are also green crystals scattered about. The tower sits on a curved landscape with a placeholder green material. The background around are light and dark blues. A screenshot of a dark, ruined interior. There is a door on the right that is a jar, spilling daylight inside. In the very middle of the interior, there is a vortex. Above it floats an orb. It's made out of stone and at its polar sides, there are lots of blue gems attached. They shimmer in the dark. Around the room, there are lots of roots that have blue flowers attached to them. An UE4 screenshot of a cyber noir graveyard. There is a cathedral in the distance and smaller mausoleums closer to us. On all of those structures, neon lights are attached.
