As this keeps coming up and my blocking finger’s getting a workout of late frankly, for the record this patriotic Welsh speaker, does not support Welsh independence or nationalism in any form. My views come from experience, I owe no one an explanation. I will not engage in debate on this subject.
Best way to end a Sunday and straight in with some Richard Hawley too
Its definitely pie season - left over roast chicken, leek, ham hock and potato- with some thyme from the garden.
Diolch, mae'n iaith hyfryd, rwy'n cytuno.
Our favourite place on the doorstep is beautiful in all seasons
Absolutely true James and the money behind it all is terrifying. We have to call it out. It was called out in Caerphilly and Reform lost. The way the media are welcoming in this new age of fascism is soul destroying it can and must be stopped. I don't condone vandalism but this did make me smile.

Off the top of my head, there have been four egregious examples of weapons grade public racism in the last couple of weeks - Jenrick; the Express hack; Captain Concrete & the Reform woman. The way they are treated by employers, punters & wider media, will directly influence how much more we see.
Bore da - hahahaha -well said.
The most vanilla political contest is over and crucially the leaders pick didn't win, it will mean jack all outside of Westminster, but inside number 10 Powell as deputy could be the catalyst for a much needed shift in the Overton window back to the left for Labour. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c3...

This is quite a shocking chart to show the swing from left to right for voters in Caerphilly and seeing how the right is now really just Reform as the Tory'a have been obliterated, putting my personal views about Plaid aside, if the Senedd vote looks like this in May I will take that.
willhaywardwales.substack.com/p/plaid-smas... superb from @willhaycardiff.bsky.social - " So it turns out more people are more concerned in Caerphilly about the opponents of immigration, than they are about the immigrants themselves…"
Plaid smash Reform to win in Caerphilly
These are the key takeaways from a massive night in Welsh politics

Hang it in the Louvre - 2 losers from Reform as the great Caerphilly born Tommy Cooper looks on laughs.
Yippee!

Its bloody cold so Im fucking off to Cyprus for a fortnight.
A huge sigh of relief in South Wales this morning, nationalism is not the way forward but certainly preferable to fascism. Lots to think about for Labour in Wales the protest vote was inevitable.
She'd such a madam loves her comfort
Good job its laundry day tomorrow.
I swear one day she'll get actually under the covers and pull the duvet over her 🐾 ❤️
This worked so well during covid so definitely in support of bringing this back and so much safer for pedestrians and party goers too. If you combine this with the later licence laws its a return to Soho at its seedy best - shame the booze is so expensive.
Sometimes I forget how mad it all is in the US and then I see this....
