I know I should be used to it, but I’m always stunned by how unifying anti-Afghan hatred is across the world. On one hand, you have a bipartisan resurrection of 9/11 tropes in the US and on the other, the Pakistan government is using this incident to justify its operations in Afghanistan and KP.

Am I misreading? Is this post suggesting that because the shooter is Afghan that it is terrorism? maybe I am misreading
With DC shooter now identified as an Afghan national not the antifa secret agent White House hoped for a good time to remember the Trump admin has gutted domestic anti-terrorism capacity and reassigned many to finding grandmothers to arrest at immigration hearings.

A good time to remember that the surge of anti-South Asian racism is compounded for those who are Muslim, who this country automatically labels as terrorists just bc they are brown and Muslim.

God this is so utterly despicable. Trump is “he was no angel”- ing a journalist who was murdered and dismembered with a bone saw by agents of an authoritarian regime.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."
