My leg workout out this afternoon was 120 squats with a weighted vest, 26 flights of stairs, with a weighted vest, some foot elevated bridges, and hamstring curls.
I can’t have these this late.

But, I want them.

SNAP is not the reason your taxes are high.

SNAP recipients don’t need to “just go get a job”.

Most of them work. The rest are disabled, elderly, children or caregivers.

Initially.

Exciting, very exciting, very very exciting, not so exciting.
Stretching has also been helpful, and necessary, but it wasn’t enough to really improve the way my body moves.

I know not everyone can do a weight workout, or run, but I can’t recommend doing what you can do more.

Start someplace. Listen to your body. Don’t beat yourself up if you skip a day.
I work out a fair amount. I run. I walk. I work my core. I do an upper body workout and a leg workout, twice a week.

Working out has been critical for my quality of life, but my leg workout in general and squats in particular have done more than anything else to improve my flexibility and mobility.
This is for other olds.

I started back working out, with weights, when I was 57ish. I hadn’t worked out in several years. I started again because I was feeling stiffer and weaker than than I had ever previously felt.
