Dell has raised the corp purchase price of $2k-$3k corp laptops TWICE in the last 2 weeks, each by $300-$400. presumably due to uncertainty re: manuf/sourcing of precious metals re: tariffs? i am no economist but its not good so far re: Jan 20

have been working on a Big Thing (at least to me, anyway) lately and my 👀 eyes have been Officially Opened at how much easier using GCP pub/sub is for passing messages at scale (> 3-5k msgs/sec) than it is for having to stand up the usual LBs/infra to handle 3-5k HTTP msgs/sec. 🤯

Nobody at work took me off the stationery ordering system when I was promoted, and because it's no longer part of my job they don't monitor my spending. Guess who's building up a lifetime supply of blutack and pens for myself and my family?

my research indicates that many people have giant TVs hanging on wall mounts that they don’t 💯 trust! put your TV base on a small table or trestle you freaks! is this a weird man thing
