Dear sound designer(s) on Outer Worlds 2: the "heavy rounds" audio from firing The Simplifier just triggered my retired street cat's PTSD - clear proof of how realistic it sounds. (Yes, this is sad but he's afraid of fireworks & aluminum foil, too. He's safe indoors, he just forgets sometimes.)

I'm still really enjoying Outer Worlds 2. My play style is exploration but I do want the "edge" that combat provides. IMO "normal" difficulty level is amazing - combat is thrilling without being frustrating. I'm not fast enough for soulslikes, so thank God someone is still making these. 💖 Obsidian!

Just saw "The Land That Time Forgot" (1974). Other than the overly rubbery dinosaurs, it was surprisingly "deep" for an adventure movie... I guess in part because Michael "Elric of Melnibone" Moorcock co-wrote it?!
