On this Human Rights Day, the Alberta government has chosen to attack fundamental human rights that have been protected under the Charter by passing Bill 9 into law, using the notwithstanding clause to strip protections and entrench restrictions on the rights of trans and gender diverse young people

Last night the UCP used their power as gov’t to limit debate on multiple bills to one hour.

They’ve done it > 80 times in six years.

I had a few choice words in response and in defence of Albertans who deserve a government that respects democracy.
