It's not fashionable to beat up on press now, but in a decade of Trump & Republicans' extreme lying neither @startribune.com nor @mprnews.org have ever called out either for their extreme, strategic and systematic lying. There can be no discourse if one side is free to lie without consequence
Sullivan is great and right. But it's been five years since the Post documented that this guy lied 30,000 times in one term, and it's had zero effect on how Trump's claims are treated, and the only plausible solution left is, overwhelmingly, that they would prefer to tell lies and help him tell lies
“The idea that Trump is ordering ICE to soften up — whether at protests or in yanking people out of their homes or by rearranging the hierarchy — is hard to believe, and in fact, should not be believed.”

Klobuchar can talk a big game on the Sunday shows but she is not on our side. All she's done is normalize Trump.

One of the strongest Republican candidates dropped out of the race last week because he knows no Republicans can win in Minnesota given everything happening with ICE. A turkey sandwich could win as long as it has DFL by its name.
C'mon man. Which other Democrat is a shoo in as Minnesota's next Governor?

Klobuchar was the only Dem to speak at Trump's second inauguration. She spoke of the peaceful transfer of power, even after Trump attempted a self-coup to stop exactly that.

She pivots to talking about grocery prices during Trump's ongoing attempts at turning this country fascist. She's not good.

I'm a techie so I don't expect people to emulate me, but I have a separate router / firewall that is basically a PC that runs pfsense - open source firewall software, then I just use access points for wifi

I had extensive dealings with CL over the years - and they literally tried to cheat me at every chance, including when I sent the modem/router back they claimed I hadn't sent it! Of course I was on to them and saved the shipping receipt.

Sale to AT&T completed yesterday (maybe you already mentioned that?) It wasn't so much the *service* of CL - although a lot of people had trouble with that - it was the criminal billing practices and ripping off of customers like claiming to have never received modems sent back.

Quantum is the rebranded CenturyLink - the world's worst company. Wouldn't go anywhere near them

Abolish ICE.

There’s no reforming it.

There’s no compromise.

There’s only one way to rein in ICE’s terror campaign. Abolish it.

How clearer could it be that the Republican Party is making war on us?
(PS) Be clear on what he said.

He said "we"—i.e., Republicans—need to "take over" the elections in "at least 15 [blue] places"... permanently.

No one can possibly doubt that not only would this be illegal and unconstitutional, but that he knows it.

And that it would mean war.

You want to talk about dystopia? How about how people in town for treatment after being tortured are being disappeared to Republican gulags? Can't make up this type of brutality

Rash: They fled torture in their home countries. Now they’ve been held by ICE.
Six clients of the Center for Victims of Torture, all legally living in Minnesota, were detained as part of Operation Metro Surge, writes columnist John Rash.
