I don't care if the old, useless fucks were spoonfed enough hate propaganda that they believed it was right to do so. It's not their own decision they changed: it's reversing an act of Parliament. It's a constitutional breakdown as bad as anything happening in the US. The water is getting very warm.

I am still not over the simple fact that the UK Supreme Court showed flagrant corruption in abusing its constitutional powers to unambiguously invert parliamentary intention and the legal profession responded by being the bunch of unprincipled, cowardly, socially obedient pets they are.

So as a film nerd, this feels like if post-Oscars the BBC's main headline was "Emilia Perez wins at the Oscars"
It's /technically/ true in the sense that it won 2 awards, but deeply misleading because it lost its other 11 nominations, including one major one it was widely expected to take
