Imagine building a hotel beside a late night bar that has been there for YEARS before you and not putting in some form of sound proofing in the rooms and INSTEAD taking legal action on the bar. FUCK OFF.
Love that an English hotel chain sets up in Dublin and five minutes later is going to the courts to try and shut down a long-running staple of our nightlife.

My dad did this when he was getting a colonoscopy and didn’t tell me. I only found out because the hospital rang me when they couldn’t get through to my uncle who was supposed to be picking him up. I nearly killed him.
This is a weird story request but I have a feeling it might be more common that we think:
Has your mother or father ever checked into a hospital and not told you? Maybe they only revealed they were admitted after the fact? Or when things got worse? (My dad did this btw!)

I was a miserable teenager and meeting folks on MySpace and Twitter from gigs was honestly my saving grace. Social media sucks but isolating lonely teens isn't necessarily the solution without even trying to regulate these tech companies
