And this is the way a fascist audience responds: applauding his slurs."

Trump’s Attack on Somali Americans Is Vile Fascism
He’s testing our country’s tolerance for ethnic persecution. And we’re failing the test.

Couple of things here:

1. Trump says he took another cognitive test recently

2. In front of "large numbers of doctors and experts"

3. He called the examinations "long...and very boring"

4. If you're given 3 cognitive exams in one year by panels of doctors, something is VERY wrong with you

I would really like to see more Ds speaking up to defend her. this is ridiculous and horrific.
Trump’s obsession with me is beyond weird. He needs serious help.

Since he has no economic policies to tout, he’s resorting to regurgitating bigoted lies instead.

He continues to be a national embarrassment.

A huge night for Democrats:

—They flip Miami's mayorship.
—They flip a state House district in Georgia that had voted Trump by 13%.
—They keep Albuquerque's mayorship, while the liberal faction flips city council.
—And they get big overperformances (+18 & +22) in 2 Florida specials.

College teachers and staff everywhere, take note
ICE raided Augsburg University in Minnesota and allegedly pointed guns at students.

They didn’t have a warrant to be on private property, and students are shaken and left feeling unsafe.

At least one was detained.

They’re not going after criminals.

They’re grabbing anyone they can.

In other words, Americans should be ashamed that a migration flow so pathetically small compared to a population of over 300 million is being used to trick them into collaborating with the destruction of their own democratic norms and institutions
The story (www.nytimes.com/2025/12/07/u...) also lets people believe a million immigrants is a lot. It's not. In 2023 there were 32 million immigrants here who arrived in the last 26 years -- well over a million a year. A healthy level of immigration is probably higher than that.
