These arseholes honestly believe that most billionaires got rich through brilliance & hard work rather than enormous good luck & sociopathy. The richest man in the world is a ket-addled idiot with a rich father.
Michael C. Rockefeller got shipwrecked in 1963, washed up on an island, and was promptly eaten by cannibals.

The level of violence against women & girls is horrific.

Tackling misogynistic attitudes among boys & promoting healthy relationships is vital to prevent this. I welcome the Government’s long-delayed strategy, but it must be matched with urgent action.

No woman or girl should suffer violence.
Boys to be target of UK's violence against women strategy
Changing attitudes among boys and young men will be central to the government's plan, the BBC is told.

These days the leader of the Liberal (Democrat) Party loudly calls for taxes on the loafer to be scrapped (see: mansion tax, reforms to farm land inheritance tax rules).

I remember when being the inheritors of the People’s Budget meant something.

It was made by the Budget League, a "pressure group formed in 1909 by Winston Churchill to publicly campaign in favour of David Lloyd George's People's Budget":

🚨BREAKING🚨

MPs have voted to PASS our bill to establish a UK-EU customs union.

The Prime Minister must now listen to his own MPs, drop his self-imposed red lines and finally go for proper growth through an ambitious trade deal with the EU.

I'm not even angry at this, just numb beyond compare. Harold Wilson (supposedly Starmer's favourite PM) was more bold about the rights of minorities when he had a majority of four seats in 1964, and he benfited from it greatly in 1966.
