So 2025 was the #pratchettproject, which is ongoing, I still have a couple of Wizards/UU books, & then onto witches and Tiffany Aching; but 2026 is the year I finally conquer Mt TBR. rotheche.neocities.org/2026 has my list of queued books, and my goal for the year is to get it under 20 or so.

Phew, 2025 is done. The books summary: rotheche.neocities.org/books/2025. 83 reviews, stats courtesy of @thestorygraph.com (if you haven't heard of it, it's a really nifty alternative to Goodreads. I'm rotheche on there as well if you want to add me.)

"Clarify" may have some meanings I wasn't aware of. I thought it means to clear things up, not to furiously backpedal like backpedalling became an Olympic event.

I call on the Australian government to #RaiseTheRate of all support payments to a living wage.
This would be the single most effective way to lift the productivity, quality of life, and well-being of the whole country.

The number of times I made a 😲 face while watching that presentation; the mangling of names, the omission of a finalist, the general sloppiness of the whole thing.

A couple of people have noted they provided pronunciation guides so "there wasn't one" is rubbish - the organisers had the info.
Something very very weird happened during the Hugos award ceremony... It's been on my mind for days, and so I wrote this blog: "When People Giggle at Your Name, or the 2025 Hugo Awards Incident"
