Ok I just was near a very fun celebrity in a lounge because Haunted scored us special badges with access. But my body is now getting ready to fight or flight or something so I'm taking a bio break then getting the Minotaur case to suit up.

I should note that after I showered this morning I was applying my face cream and realized my skin was tingly and smelled minty. So I had covered one cheek with toothpaste by mistake. Not a promising start. 😕

8:17 am trying to get my body to follow my usual post-coffee morning routine so I can be comfortable in the Minotaur later today. Have to double check my costume packing boxes then load up the car and get to the parking garage ASAP./🧵

7:30 am went to the lobby for coffee and oatmeal. Hotel hallway smelled farty. Realized its the road construction nearby releasing a heavy sulfur odor. At least it isn't our fault. Though this does reinforce stereotypes about New Jersey. 🧵

3am woke up because our security cameras alerted to a person outside our home. It was just the yard bunnies frolicking. Thank you, AI movement identification.

NYCC Day 2 Friday: I was handler for @hauntedcosplay.bsky.social today as Werewolf Wolverine. Looong day. Went to Times Square for cosplay photos in the evening. All the pics on Haunted's phone. Super tired. Bed now. Minotaur tomorrow. Lots of people anticipating it.

The super fun part was Haunted find Kid Ghostface and Lady Ghostface with Uncle Michael, so it was the family that slays together, stays together ❤️. /🧵

Nycc day 1 Thursday:
@hauntedcosplay.bsky.social hosted a horror cosplay meet-up for the first time. NYCC scheduled it for 8:45pm. Which is VERY LATE. So only about 10 cosplayers showed up, compared to like 150 at the Kpop meet-up in the afternoon. 🧵
