Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

It is simply irrational and unfair to ask that men behave in some kind of moral manner. Women, on the other hand, just don't seem to exist at all.

Our current system is designed for nepo baby pedos who rely on disinformation and brainwash. For every one billionaire who fucks off because we transitioned toward something better, there would be thousands of non-pedo millionaires with great credit racing to seize the opportunity and fill that gap.

What the Epstein files show is the *solidarity* of many men-across class, race, religion, profession & party affiliation-in the global political project of keeping the boot on women's necks.

People have no problem understanding class solidarity among the rich. Why can't they see gender solidarity?
Like I dunno, maybe the reason it took a lady to break open the story of all the men protecting the dude trafficking underage girls is because the male journos were all emailing him making jokes about it?

tbh, the scope of criminality described in barely-literate text and the scale of how many people involved are both genuinely really shocking to me

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

Corporations & hedge funds exacerbated the housing crisis by buying up available housing to turn it into higher priced rentals.

The average age of a first-time home buyer, for those who can do it, is now 40. To complete the wealth transfer, 50 year mortgages will turn homeownership into to tenancy

Meanwhile, DHS agents in Los Angeles celebrated the holiday by conducting raids while wearing horror movie masks.

MAGA and Madison Avenue have known and exploited this. But it also very much applies to campaigns for good.
