Spotify has laid off thousands in recent years, while reportedly paying artists $0.003 per stream.

Spotify profits rose 28% in Q3. Its CEO is worth $9.8 billion. It's making money off ICE recruitment ads.

Don't you think it's time put a wrap on corporate greed and exploitation?

RFK Jr: "Two weeks ago we ended, under your leadership, a twenty year war on women".

Three out of five men in this shot have been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment or abusive behaviour towards women. A fourth signed into law a near-total abortion ban in his state as governor.

Disappointed to see this. 160 union workers are fighting for a fair contract at Individualized Shirts, a US factory that makes high-end men's button-ups. The managers there have rejected the union's request for fair wages and health insurance. The union is asking for support 🧵

Kind of weird seeing the President of the US urging the Supreme Court to let him stop food money ready to go to hungry Americans…

MAGA? You sure this is what you were hoping for? A lot of those people are… well… you!

Can I just offer up to my NY friends (& family,) that London has had a muslim mayor for 9 years now, and the City is still standing... now with much cleaner air, as it happens!

Like a lot of things with RFK Jr if someone just said this to you and wasn’t in charge of medicine in America you’d go: ooooooookay and keep pressing the elevator button
Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

Top Tip: to replicate the practice of nervously posting something you're a bit unsure about on social media - then immediately deleting it, so you get the dopamine hit of typing it out but entirely without consequence or anyone actually noticing, post it on Bluesky instead.

feels like yet again time to mention that the *videogames* industry (that's a creative industry, which people do creative degrees in) brings in more than twice the amount to the British economy as the fishing and steel industries *combined*
I cannot understand what these people think the purpose of human life is?

It is *not* "pursue joy, deal justly, love well, try to understand as much and see as much of this beautiful world and of the deepness, richness and variety of human culture and experience as you can before you die"?
How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.
