Mostly retired criminal defense attorney. Democrat. From blue dot Columbia, Missouri.
Thanks to People Magazine for reporting on this. The convicted felon president’s language in speaking to a WH reporter is beyond disgusting.

Says something about the news outlets that cover the White House that this story is from People Magazine.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

Donald Trump Snaps at Female Reporter Who Asks About Epstein Files: 'Quiet Piggy'
Donald Trump Says 'Quiet Piggy' to Female Reporter Asking About Epstein Files

Trump caved, he saw that Republicans have abandoned him on the Epstein files and he can’t stand to lose.

But he is a notorious liar, there’s something going on here we don’t know yet.

Like he tells Bondi not to release the files and she takes a fall for him.
Is this why Trump is suddenly saying “we have nothing to hide” and urging GOP lawmakers to vote to release the Epstein files? (And will they be unredacted?)
NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

As it always is, the point of everything that Trump does is the cruelty, the desire to
make people needlessly suffer.
After weaponizing the shutdown to block SNAP benefits for hungry people, the Trump Admin is using the oldest trick in the book to do more of the same.

This kind of red tape does nothing to prevent fraud — it just makes it harder for working people to get the benefits they need.
Trump administration will require SNAP participants to reapply for benefits
Food aid recipients are already required to recertify their information regularly. But the move is part of USDA chief Brooke Rollins’ effort to overhaul the program.

Great to see you posting @devincow.bsky.social. Hadn’t seen anything from everyone’s favorite cow for a long while.

Yes Lisa sorry to confirm that is entirely correct. Insulting black and brown people is an important part of the intentional cruelty.
It’s as if these old racists are incapable of making a point in any discussion on any subject without insulting black or brown people.
Sen. Kennedy on releasing all of the Epstein files: “I just don't think this issue is going to go away until that issue is addressed and answered to the American people's satisfaction. And I may end up with a sombrero on my head for saying that, but that's the way I see it.”

The best case isn’t much better than the worst case.
Best case: The President of the United States knew about a pedophilia ring and did nothing to stop it.

Medium case: He also used his office to protect the perpetrators.

Worst case: Because he was one of the perpetrators.

This is now a certainty since the Democrats have caved in on protecting ACA subsidies.

We were winning the battle until they collapsed. We had a dramatic and meaningful set of victories last Tuesday night. Democratic voters supported candidates that were fighting for them.

#DemsCave
My ACA current plan is going from $385/mo to $821/mo.
November 11, 2025 at 3:23 AM
And absolute certainty that if it passes in the Senate and the House that Trump will veto it.

No way to sugarcoat it. The Democrats caved.

#DemsCaved
⚡️ JUST NOW — Speaker Johnson will NOT guarantee a vote on ACA subsidies even if it passes the senate (after the Schumer-orchestrated cave)👇🏽
November 11, 2025 at 12:56 AM
Mike Johnson just said he will not commit to a vote on ACA subsidies.

Time for one or more of the 8 Senators to change their mind and vote no.

Especially Durbin and Kaine.
There’s still time to call senators. Let me explain. Sorry not sorry about the cat. He’s also really upset about this deal.
November 10, 2025 at 11:13 PM
Since at least 2015 Trump has wanted to destroy the ACA.

The Republican Party has wanted to destroy the ACA since 2010.

They have never put forward an alternative. The truth is they don’t care if people have health insurance or access to healthcare.
Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.

That is a frighteningly large number of civilian deaths.
UR has released 73 videos of 45 Minneapolis Police body-worn cameras from the mass arrest of over 646 people on Nov. 4, 2020. Strikingly, more than 24% of the 45 officers represented in this release have killed community members while on duty. View all videos, full story, & media guide at our site.

Unreal to think of the amount of personal vanity that would cause the convicted felon president to appear in public with makeup like this.

And yes, a remarkable recovery to the right ear.
incredible new trump photo

Thanks to Gen. Hertling for saying that. We need many more retired military to speak truth to power.
Forgive the Revolutionary War symbolism.

Today, NJ & VA were at a pivotal moment — just like during 2 defining periods of the Revolution. This time, two strong women stood against the pull of authoritarianism.

NJ & VA became beacons of victory & democratic strength for a nation needing it.

Judge Luttig is a retired federal court of appeals judge. Surely it could be arranged for him to have a conversation with CJ Roberts?
If I had the opportunity, says Judge Michael Luttig; "I would tell the Chief Justice that he is presiding over the end of the rule of law in America. That's what he is doing."

For anyone concerned with what remains of US democracy, this is a must listen podcast.
always an immense honor to talk with @judgeluttig.bsky.social about what it means for judges to stand up to monarchic power, and then to Rick Woldenberg of Learning Resources who brought the tariffs case to SCOTUS for . . . precisely the same reason. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

Rojas had something to say!
I don’t know the answer to this! With 2 out and no on I might do it?????
Do you walk Ohtani here or give him a shot to tie the game with one swing?

Holy shit

And Whiskey Pete replies “Yes sir.”

And what a way to conduct diplomacy.
He is planning to start wars everywhere. Nigeria is next, I guess can no one stop him?
November 2, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Yes there will eventually be violence. It will not end well for anyone.

But it is exactly what Trump wants. It will be the predicate for invoking the Insurrection Act. And Trump will say the courts have no jurisdiction to review that decision.
Sooner or later, someone is going to respond to one of these ICE goons by returning the violence and it's not going to end well -- not for the goon, not for the victim, not for any of us.

Really, I think the main purpose is to distract from releasing the Epstein reports.
we have a rogue president starting a rogue, illegal vanity war with Venezuela for no reason other than the fact he’s dying for relevance and power as he’s literally dying. note: he’s killing Indigenous bodies.

the final swan song. a treasonous one.

The money has been appropriated for this exact emergency situation.

Trump is choosing not to make this money available.

Trump is choosing to make people suffer including small children and the elderly.

His choice is cruelty.
Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

I think you know what the explanation is…
Waiting for someone to explain why the announcement of a trade relationship that is worse than the one we had a year ago is received as a big success
October 31, 2025 at 4:46 AM
Don’t know about straight or gay, but that is a shit ton of pumpkins and gourds, nicely arranged.
October 31, 2025 at 4:45 AM
A thought for @stephruhle.bsky.social:

Get rid of David Drucker. He was just arguing with you and interrupting you.

Your viewers do not want to hear from a Trump apologist.
October 31, 2025 at 3:12 AM
Fascinating the contempt Republican politicians have for their own constituents including many who are Republican voters.
Rep. Clay Higgins of Louisiana blames SNAP recipients for not stockpiling a month's worth of food.

He ends his tweet with "stop smoking crack."
October 31, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Everything that Trump does is another step toward invoking the Insurrection Act. He wants to seize authoritarian powers.

And he has no intention to leave the White House on January 20, 2029.
Yes, he wants food riots so he can "Crack down" and seize more control. Imo, of course, but it seems obvious.
Every $1 invested in SNAP generates $1.80 in economic activity.

It’s not about the money, Trump just wants Americans to go hungry.
