Conflict in writing can be anything from fighting the bad guy, to fighting some inner demons. Just because it in not your conflict of choice does not mean that the writing is conflict-free.
'CONFLICT' IN A CREATIVE WRITING SETTING MEANS A VERY SPECIFIC THINGS PLEASE TAKE A CREATIVE WRITING COURSE AT ANY LEVEL BEFORE YOU START ARGUING THAT ANY FICTION IS "CONFLICT-FREE"
