Thankfully, some of yesterday's CDC firings have been rescinded.

But this should be a major scandal, not business as usual in this shitshow of an administration. It's either spectacular incompetence or an effort to make even politically untouchable positions feel precarious to those in them.

Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.

Today’s parent tip is that you can request lidocaine lotion at some drs before your kids get shots, or if they don’t have it, you can buy it over the counter and apply it yourself. You can also do this for yourself! There are no rules, and we don’t need to suffer for the cause!

We see comments like this all the time.

But the thing is, lots of people who need food banks HAVE JOBS.

Bills are rising, rent is sky-high – and wages just don’t cover it all. Even when income is topped up by Universal Credit, people still don’t have enough money to survive.
