450+ in my small corner of southeast missouri. The protest started out originally at 15 people last year, 300 plus in June. I think today would have been larger but we are under a severe thunderstorm watch rn.

I live in a deep red area, it's important for us to know we're not alone out here. 1st protest had 15 people, the last one had 400. Out of that protest 3k has been raised to pay off school lunches, a program to buy Xmas for foster kids too. Expecting a bigger crowd today.

I used their stunt on my FB, ppl are freaking out over the food stamp cuts. I simply said they have money to pay for trolls on bluesky but not money for food stamps next month. The upcoming snap cuts are a big deal in my area, it's deep red.

It makes me sad. Even old Mitch who I can't stand, but they should be home enjoying their lives and families. Contrary to popular US beliefs, it's actually not a good thing to work until you die. All of them could share their knowledge in a different role.

My local dem clubs are using the rally to gather donations for local foster kids for Christmas, gather donations for school lunches. Local DSA is holding a banned book reading in rural MO. Get involved in whatever you can in your community.

We know how to deal with the 🤡 when they show up! Last time one kept doing burnouts a 70 yr old man stood in his way holding an American flag. Blaring " you need to calm down" at them works well too. All bark and no bite this lot is. Protest scheduled all over MO.
