Were I not a town planner I like to imagine myself as The Times’ Chief Football Writer and to indulge that fantasy I write a match report on Instagram after every game that I have been to, this compilation of which tells the story of my 2024/25 season.

This article is just bollocks, isn't it? There are lots of good reasons not to eat many Doritos, but the carbon footprint of the corn going into them isn't one of them, because eating almost anything else would be worse.

A new FT analysis has revealed that the majority of all houses in England are in the wrong council tax band, with many homeowners paying too much or too little. You may well be one of them! Modest homes are often paying more than mansions.

Note: “a step”

The “deserve to watch” line can be used across multiple different continent. As it inevitably will be over the coming years.

As someone who was at Labour conf, I think this article articulates why I found it so frustrating. If solving the housing crisis was easy - surely we wouldn’t be in the position we are in? We need serious discussions about systems change and a proper housing strategy. Not gimmicky hats.
