If you think you know why US newspapers died, this feature documentary now streaming for free on PBS might surprise you. It wasn't the Internet. Newspapers were specifically targeted by vulture capitalists.

I've been watching college football for a LONG time, but the end of the first half in this UGA/Auburn game was one of the weirdest I've ever seen.

Dunno what's gonna happen in the second half, but #GoDawgs!

A classic case of irresponsible both-sidesism from the NYT. The story is that Trump and MAGA propagandists are lying about Portland to incite a conflict, not that there are different views of the matter.

Unexpected but neat! More SSJ4, even if it's Daima, is a win in my book.

I like the Bamco is still updating these older Dragon Ball games (this and Xenoverse 2) after all this time.

Can you put into words what that purpose is? You and the frog have really become icons of this protest. There’s been a nice overall whimsy that has shown up. The frog is amazing. We had a bunch of other inflatable people here last night, too. I saw people playing Twister the other day. What they rely on is fear. So by coming out in an absurdist manner, it speaks to them, to some extent, that we’re actually not that afraid. It also dismantles their narrative a little bit. When they try to describe this situation as “war-torn,” it becomes much harder to take them seriously when they have to post a video saying [U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security] Kristi Noem is up on the balcony staring over the Antifa Army and it’s, like, eight journalists and five protesters and one of them is in a chicken suit.

Well, my Yankees had a decent season, but you simply can't give up 50 runs over four games and expect anything good to happen in the postseason. At least we beat Boston!

As for the rest of this season, I'm rooting for anybody that isn't the Dodgers.

The best part of how Portland is handling this is they’re not only protesting, but also angering the goose steppers by not taking them seriously.

Pretty genius. Because even ICE & the national guard don’t want to be displayed as that asshole fighting people in cute costumes.

Naturally, I'd love to see the story continue. If it were up to me, I'd take the plot for The Dark Prophecy and develop that as a bookend to the series.

Not only would it be great to give Kain's story a definitive ending, but it could also make Blood Omen 2 better in retrospect.
