Had a sudden breakdown in the middle of a voice note to a friend about my thesis protect where I burst into tears and hypothesised whether it would just be better to withdraw from the masters entirely, so, probably not as over my dog's sudden death as I thought I was 😅

Today is the day my darling puppy is put to rest and everything just feels surreal. I keep looking at the time and calculating how much time he has left

Today I got the news I was fearing, that my dog has stage 5 cancer and there's no effective treatment. I am beyond devastated. I feel so lucky that I got to share part of his life, but it is almost impossible for me to imagine my life without him.

I can't imagine a future not having a dog. At the same time, I don't know if I can go through this again.

Had to take my dog to an emergency vet appointment today. Now we have to wait for a pathologist to review his blood work, but, I think cancer is the most likely outcome. This frustrated, helpless feeling is the worst part about loving an animal.

Truly wild experience as a first time Baldur's Gate 3 player going in blind. Killed an entire camp of enemies whether they were aggro or not and now my entire team suddenly wants to have sex with me.

AI has taken so much of the joy out of life. One of my favourite things to do is text my friends strange questions to get their theorised answers, and now when I do so some of my smartest friends either tell me AI will give me the smartest answer or just use AI themselves and then reply.

Just realised I never received my voter information card in the mail. I panicked that despite voting every election since 18 I was suddenly unregistered. Double checked and I am still registered, just no voter info card.
