Minn AG Keith Ellison on my show explains that The head of massive fraud ring in Minnesota was NOT a Somali American as Trump claims. Rather a white woman named Aimee Bock was convicted as being the mastermind. But Trump spewed this lie to give his base some racist red meat.

US Citizen detained by ICE: Clearly it didn't matter that I was a citizen, a veteran, or identified who I was. They ignored everything I said. They just broke my window and dragged me out. I let them know I was a veteran, I wasn't doing anything wrong, just trying to get to work.

41 minutes is a long time to sit in your air conditioned office watching men struggle to survive as you decide to kill them.

To all those criticizing MSNow yesterday for "exonerating Hegseth": they were only reading the Pentagon's press release.

I don't get why people stream music nowadays. It's easier and better for both the artist AND the listener to buy a CD, even just virtually.
No worry about being online to stream, if the platform might go crazy and remove everything, etc, and the artists actually gets money.

Just an example of our mental giant of a president's rantings yesterday.

On top of this, Trump has:

-Prevented the NLRB from operating
-Reversed Biden's minimum wage hike for federal contractors
-Gutted OSHA
-Rolled back dozens of workplace health & safety regulations
-Dropped the FTC’s support for a noncompete ban

The “pro-worker" president.
NEW: This year, Trump ended collective bargaining rights for 1 million federal workers — ending union protections for 1 in 14 unionized workers in the U.S.

No, Trump hasn’t helped workers. He’s helped bosses exploit them. Lawrence S. Wittner in @inequality.org:

Trump's second term in office has been an all-out assault on organized labor.

Karoline Leavitt says that the strike was lawful under the "laws of war".

Except that there's no war ongoing against Venezuela since the USA constitution states that only the congress is allowed to declare war.

These Karoline Leavitt "press conferences" are completely worthless propaganda full of shameless lies. They should be ignored by the media and all of us.
Q: You said that second strike was in accordance with the law of armed conflict, but the Navy's own manual says that firing on survivors from a wrecked vessel is an example of a war crime

LEAVITT: I would reiterate that the strike was conducted in accordance with the law of armed conflict

It was literally the law to disregard the order.

The unit involved, Hegseth, and Trump are all complicit with an actionable crime.

Removal isn't an option. It's a requirement.
⚖️ DoD Law of War Manual, page 1075:

"For example, orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal."

If you wouldn't, then fire Hegseth today and have your DOJ bring everyone in the chain of command that led to that prosecuted.
Otherwise, the buck stops with you.

This is one example of what happens when the Senate pushes through, and confirms, an unqualified and dangerous nominee. I hope they are proud of themselves for being complicit in murder. It was more important to them to give Trump what he wanted than it was to do their fucking jobs.
