I really don't care if you did pottery at school, your cupboards are full or your wife/husband will divorce you if you buy another mug.
Let’s air those grievances. I want to hear your pettiest gripes on this the holiest of days.

One of the many bad things about the pandemic was the rise of QR codes and how people were conditioned into trusting them. They're actually really dangerous and a widely used way of taking unsuspecting people to phishing sites. Don't scan them; don't trust them.

I don't want to dunk on this person but I would have been in very bad odour with my children I'd done this.

The last chapter of this history book has yet to be written. We’ve beaten them before and we will beat them again.
The only way these fascist chucklefucks make this work is by succeeding in manufacturing the *appearance* of inevitability, because they *do not* have the force or skill to win a straight fight.

In short, the only weapon that can deliver them victory is you: the fool doomer whose nihilism is poison

If you're after a great pair of boots and are a size 6 and don't mind looking like a figure skater ot fishmonger, then these are currently super duper reduced at Jean Louis. I bought a pair when they cost twice as much and completely love them.

So, today marks 10 years since the passing of Bowie.

It also marks 10 years since I put something on Twitter about it which resulted in me having to take a day off work, chase down various international media, get blocked by half of Australia, and end up the filling in a Kanye and Madonna sandwich.

My father as the Easter bunny involving a mask and a beige cardigan worn as trousers. Me sitting on a towel on the sofa after my bath, aged maybe 3, thinking, "I know it's him."
What is your earlier memory, and how old are you in it? I stole my sister's trike and mum came out and told me off. I was about 4. 1980. Like Keith Moon, I have no memories of the seventies.

A food bank providing 17,000 meals every week is warning it could be forced to shut down within months.

If a lifeline this vital disappears, what happens to the families who rely on it?
Where do they go next, when there’s nowhere left?

This winter, we cannot look away. 👉 bankuet.co.uk/givenow

Did get a pair but so pretty that I decided to send one on as a Christmas present.
The tiny tapered candle is from St Eval candles and smells lovely 🕯️

The government used to own and run all the pubs in Carlisle, it was wildly successful and the pub estate wasn't sold off until the 1960s, mostly out of embarrassment.
Ok folks: what is your favorite fact that you share with people (maybe a bit too) eagerly?

I used to get my checked bags searched every single time I flew, they leave a little card saying they’ve done it, so finally I put a note in my bag asking why and they wrote on the card that carrying so many books on a flight is usually how people hide illegal amounts of cash
Bag got pulled by security at the airport so I told him before he opened it that I was carrying medicinal cannabis. 'Yeah, not bothered about that, it's your toothpaste' 🤪

Picture 2 is where I became a reader, although no carpet then. My first solo walk as a child (because it was in the same street), I spent so many hours at the library, picking books, helping out (oh, the card system!) and studying for exams. ❤️
