The same laws that can compel identity apply to crypto as to banks, laws don't just vanish because a different tool is used.
You are clutching at straws, there is no way to know who the true source of funds is with banks.

It's simple to have the same level of certainty in crypto, just have a message signed.
Or of course the bank could have provided the money laundering services, which is an ongoing and significant problem.
Whoever is the person signing the message, is the source, that person is either permissible or not.

With a bank, another person can provide funds to an account holder and those funds can then be donated, it's the same scenario.
Of course crypto can be used for fraud, but then fraud existed a long time before crypto did, so it's not good enough to equate the two.

"A bad workman blames his tools"
You don't need the real user name on the wallet, that's old school thinking.

It is possible to verify who the owner of an address is through message signing, if you aren't familiar with the tools then it's best to do more research.
This is why we need crypto, people shouldn't be afraid that their politics will mean they cannot live.

Authoritarian control is always used for abuse.
This is an extremely bad article written with clear bias. Crypto is a method to remove authoritarian control. It wasn't created to be fraud.

If used for political parties, it's very simple to verify from who the funds came from. Existing funding laws can be complied with easily.

Rather than "slowly undoing some of that damage" the government’s response should be to move ambitiously to rapidly undo ALL of the Brexit damage.

#Brexit has failed.

It's time to prepare and plan seriously to rejoin the EU.

That's the message
From reporting is seems like the FY 2025 chart might be a different picture, with a plateau for coal generation.

Let's see.

Great to speak at the @energy-uk.org.uk conference just now, about the tenuous relationship between many media headlines & reality

Here's a taster

I see the current commercial price for electricity is £125.61/MWh with nearly 2/3rds coming from gas.

But over the year with under 1/3rd from gas the price averaged £82.80.

Yet still the likes of the fossil-fuel-funded Refukkers lie to use that net zero will make us poorer.

Your car isn’t just a way to get from point A to B, but it’s also a power source.

Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology is transforming parked EVs into energy assets that can power homes, businesses, and even entire communities.

Isn't farmland already an industrial use? It's not natural, after all.

Also if a farmer can diversify income streams with solar, doesn't that help them survive through more extreme weather from climate change.

And isn't it better to do solar (that lets the land recover) than biofuels crops.
Gas is the primary reason for high electricity prices and the whole reason for high gas bills

Liberal Democrat Ed Davey says the Conservatives and Reform have a message on energy bills that is "simple, beguiling and terribly, terribly wrong"

Calls for the sector to take on their "lies" and says "the Farage/Badenoch plan would fail".
I was just holding the Rubles for a friend 😉
