The challenge with insurance is that individual purchasing decisions affect the group. If healthy people opt out then everyone left pays more. This causes others to drop out, again raising prices for everyone left. The cycle continues until the few people who remain are effectively uninsured.

As MAGA is so concerned with government subsidies for ACA health plans, it’s important to note that the government also subsidizes employer sponsored plans through a tax break for the employer contribution. The total cost of that tax break is over three times the cost of the ACA subsidies.

The cease-fire in Gaza is a great start, but we're a long way from the finish line. We need continue to push both sides to stay at the table until there's a determination of how to rebuild Gaza, and how a peaceful Palestine can self-govern without being a threat to Israel.

Our Governor is playing national politics with the Texas National Guard. We need a Texas legislature that is more concerned with running the state of Texas than with running for President.

As a retired officer of the US Army, I am shocked by the President's suggestion that we would use American cities as a "training grounds" for our military. I swore an oath to the Constitution, not to any person.
