It's easy to understand when there are moments where this is hardest.

Scientific research on history has shown that large genocidal empires, the seeds of civilization, form where there are large cultural gaps that make it almost impossible for people to understand each other...

Honestly? I would have cared about this six months ago, but now he's just a flailing, half-asleep, lame duck that's screaming into the wind.

Yeah, he'll keep creating institutional damage and causing harm to innocent people along the way. But now it's just mostly just turning into a Veep B plot.
SCOOP: Sources tell me Donald Trump's name was added to the exterior of the US Institute of Peace building ahead of Thursday's peace agreement signing between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which will be held inside the building. Confirming if it's been officially renamed.

Once again, Pete Hegseth’s poor judgment is confirmed — the Pentagon’s SignalGate review found he blatantly violated military regulations.

Meanwhile, Hakeem Jeffries showed yet again he’s not ready to rise to the occasion, and his leadership needs to be contested when the time comes.

I believe a priority in this new world we are now in should be a European partnership with Canada. Specifically, I believe that a lot of our munitions factories should be in Canada. That way the factories can keep running, and munitions continue being shipped to Europe, even when we are at war.

tbh... I am starting to question why we continue to buy U.S weapons, with all the reports of the Trump administration randomly delaying and stopping the deliveries of arms and munitions that we paid for.

In case tomorrow's announcement ends up being about Venezuela.
While Trump rightly deserves to be pilloried for his use of the military to distract the public from his involvement in a global pedophile ring, but let's try to analyze just what's likely to happen.

The US has issued a new NOTAM (Notice to Air Missions) for the entire Venezuelan Flight Information Region, advising of a hazardous security environment amid worsening conditions and heightened military activity in and around Venezuela.

More likely we'd see a devolution of power, more violence, and another wave of refugees whose lives would be upended, again, to protect Trump from being exposed as (what everyone already knows) a pedophile, and would put greater strain on Columbia, Ecuador, Panama, etc.

So we're looking at a bomb-and-bounce. Low risk for the US, and only slightly less bad for Venezuela which has an opposition that doesn't really have the support of the military, and still faces a bleak economic outlook. A post-Maduro regime would, at best, be another military dictatorship.

Donald Trump is many things, but above all else: he is lazy, and he is a coward. A large-scale invasion that risks tens of thousands of lives, would take months even in ideal conditions, and more coordination than his understaffed DoD could hope to execute is very unlikely.

An invasion from the West would put US troops over a mostly 2-lane highway, hemmed in by mountains on either side, meaning anytime a truck breaks down, they have to stop the whole column. An easterly invasion eventually connects to an 8-lane highway, but is mostly a 2-lane road through jungle.

OR land near Maracaibo to back an opposition/separatist group. In either case, after invading and pacifying this region (which, again, no troops or aircraft necessary for such an operation have been brought to bear), US troops would have to drive over 400 miles to Caracas...
