This is also why genitally-obsessed bigots developed a whole media handbook with convoluted phrases to demean and dehumanize trans people to hand out to corporate journalists. If the press calls trans people slurs, it gives permission for everyone.
Thanks to @sorayachemaly.bsky.social for breaking down the true and deeply disgusting meaning and implications of Trump's linguistic choices. And for the handy list of three dozen other demeaning statements he has used to denigrate women.

When Rishi Sunak made the Vaccine deal with Moderna as Chancellor, he had up to £530m invested in Moderna.

Now Michelle Mone is desperately bringing it up.

Like if you want Mone on trial.

Hope your day is going well, blue sky people! This time of year, when we are lucky enough to have a clear sky here in the middle of England, I get “blinded by the light“ about 1:30 pm when the sun peaks over fence and shines right in my face 😃 Not complaining, just saying 😃

Really looks like the United States is about to launch a regime change war against Venezuela with:

-No casus belli
-No authorization from Congress
-No allies or international support
-No plan for a post-Maduro Venezuela
-No preparation for any sort of stabilization or containment of the fallout

🚨🚨 New report!

Brexit has cost our economy 6 to 8% of GDP.

That equates to circa £66billion in lost tax revenue.
In Budget week, I am afraid we have to talk about Brexit.

A new report from economists at the BoE, Kings College and others puts the hit to our economy at 6 to 8% of of UK GDP.

That equates to circa £66billion in lost tax revenue.

That's why we have to go further and faster on the UK/EU reset.

What does male supremacy mean? It means thinking and acting as though men are more important than women. For example, seatbelts have been mandatory in new cars since the 70s, but carmakers are just getting round to crash testing cars to make sure they're safe for women.

The female crash test dummy has been a long time coming — but she isn't here yet
After years of limbo, the U.S. government has given the green light to a crash test dummy based on the female body. But will it be used right away? Not so fast.

Fascinating new study that speaks to my lifelong interest in "things people believe and why" particularly when those things are "fringe" and also deep troubling. (To be honest, I had not encountered the term #Looksmaxxing before, but it reminded me of some hackers I met in the early 90s.)

“but you can’t call that disease ‘chronic’ bc there’s no evidence that full treatment doesn’t stop it!”

lol ok
assuming every person who is sick with a disease gets

1. listened to

2. tested

3. treated

is itself malpractice of the highest order. which only a person ignorant of medical practice in reality could make

the issue of whether various treatments are effective is an entirely separate issue
