It seems increasingly clear that the plan is to shut down as many hospital departments as possible, send patients home and roll out new privately run hubs with less NHS oversight than ever. While oceans of public money goes to private banks and private healthcare.

Over 40 years ago, in my first job, learning my dad was Italian, one of my colleagues sneered "Oh, what does he do? Drive ice-cream van or is he is waiter?". It did give me some pleasure to reply "well he *was* a waiter when he first came but he studied hard and is now a research scientist"

What does male supremacy mean? It means thinking and acting as though men are more important than women. For example, seatbelts have been mandatory in new cars since the 70s, but carmakers are just getting round to crash testing cars to make sure they're safe for women.
