Trump and Elon's whole march and baiting of government workers will leave illness and a mess that will take years or decades to mend. Nobody should have to go through this.

Lord of Flies, indeed.

No way people can look at the ABUNDANCE 2025 event roster, with all the usual donor funded goobers from Reihan Salam on down, and say it’s not donor-led with a straight face.
It's a government reform project. It started with a handful of activists and staffers in California. It won over some journalists who made it influential enough for a handful of donors to notice. Abundance is not grassroots (what process movement is?) but it's hardly donor led

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

This unconstitutional executive order gives tech giants a blank check to experiment and deploy AI without meaningful oversight.

The Senate rejected a similar measure earlier this year by a vote of 99-1. We need more accountability for tech companies, not less.

The order creates a Justice Department task force to challenge state AI laws and directs the Commerce Department to pull future broadband funding from states that pass “onerous” legislation.
