A new (2024) group covering the six boroughs of SE London and doing what we can to reverse the Brexit catastrophe.

Remainers can be very happy that things are finally starting to change.

There has been a distinct uptick in talk about Europe in British politics lately and a very noticeable increase in troll activity against anti Brexit campaigners like me.

Thank you, everyone for your support

Let’s do this.

New analysis shows:

That there are now more people alive in the UK that voted Remain in 2016 than those who voted Leave in 2016.

The "will of the people" expressed by direct vote in 2016... has changed.
The majority opposed to Brexit has reached eight million
Ministers need courage to keep it that way

Petition: Commit to a referendum in May 2028 asking the next government to rejoin the EU
Polls show that many people of the UK believe leaving the EU was a mistake. It is time politicians stopped ignoring the views of the people. The government needs to consult the people about what to do...

What Starmer should have said.

People are quickly sickening of this rhetoric from Labour.

Their inability to be honest on how Brexit broke the country & instead blaming & ‘othering’ the people who Farage blamed to bring about Brexit, instead of attacking Farage. It’s disgraceful

76% of people who believe Brexit has damaged the economy support the UK rejoining the Single Market and Customs Union. It's time for the Government to listen.

No rejoining the EU is not hard.

Persuading everyone to do it and agree takes time.

🚨 New data from over 1,100 businesses across the UK shows the damage Brexit has done.

📉 72.8% of firms say they've been negatively impacted.

This isn’t "teething problems", it’s structural harm to our economy.

Also, under the UK constitutional arrangements through Parliamentary Sovereignty, if a Government is elected on a policy platform opposing a previous referendum, the more recent policy takes precedence... That's how it works!
We need Government Policy to #reverseBrexit and #RejoinEU

*What* a surprise.

Let's also recall:

EU nurses (esp Spanish) left in yrs after Brexit vote.

Many UK nurses retired post pandemic.

Others left for private med or non-acute work.

Tories ditched student nurse bursaries so nos. in training collapsed.

So now sustained by... non-EU migration. Oops.

As obvious as this may have been to foresee it is still terrible to see it. Can we just refuse anyone who voted for brexit or members of reform access to the NHS? Obviously not, because the people who work in the NHS care about people regardless of background, probably something to celebrate 🤷🏻‍♂️
📢 Overseas recruitment of nurses and midwives has fallen by almost 50%, putting NHS services at serious risk.
