H! I'm Grima. Just a dragon from the Pittsburgh area currently attending college. Obsessed with wind, cloaks, medieval and fantasy garb, music, etc. I'm not a frequent poster, so keep that in mind!

I was out of Israeli prison in five days. They’ve been holding Dr Hussam Abu Safiya for nearly a year without charge, along with thousands more Palestinians. A ceasefire without an end to occupation and accountability for Israel will just be a slower continuation of the genocide

it's okay to want people to like your oc. validation and praise are very human needs. but here's the thing: if you don't love the shit out of your oc first- i mean you gotta be your oc's first and most important fan, to an almost unhinged degree- it's gonna be very hard for anyone else to do so

If you attended No Kings and feel the rush and felt community, I have a very, very, very low-stakes, simple way to do more:

Go canvas your neighbors and see if they have planned what they’ll do if ICE shows up. If you talk to a few and they don’t have a plan, make a plan together.

Not diagnosing a child doesn't mean they won't notice they're different. It just means that instead of thinking "I'm struggling because I have autism/adhd/anxiety/ depression/schizophrenia", they will just conclude that they are struggling because they are stupid, weak, annoying, unlovable, etc.

I actually think it's extremely good and healthy to experience art that makes you uncomfortable. discomfort is not equivalent to real, tangible harm. at the very least y'all should recognize uncomfortable art's right to exist, and to carry on with your life without making it everyone else's problem.

The first thing the State Dept account did here was threaten to use Bluesky posts to strip people of visas and investigate non citizens.

That's a real threat against every Bluesky user and it's absurd the account isnt banned yet.

Hey, as a heads up for NSFW peeps in the US, US President administration just made a shitton of BlueSky accounts. I would highhhhly recommend subbing to this blocklist so they don't show up on any algorithm feeds (and so they can't see your shit)
