This was my pinned tweet forever. Need to bring it over here. I don't see this as much right now, but it is something that frustrates me to no end and we saw a lot of "do something!" directed at Elizabeth Warren the other week.
This is so fucking pathetic
Reuters photographer Jonathan Ernst noticed that Bondi flipped open a file during the Senate hearing and he zoomed in.

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.

The GOP now practicing Cliff's Notes Fascism

In other words, under oath Bondi was purely a performance.
This is how mainstream media framing consistently helps the racists. What is the “criticism” NPR is referring to? You’d think Bad Bunny did something wrong that might have invited criticism. The “criticism” is just… racism. Racism is the word you’re looking for.
Fucking abolish ICE. And prosecute them.
Wow. Just wow.
So far today, Chuck Schumer has said his strategy for preventing Trump sending troops into blue cities is to win over Republican senators (!) while Hakeem Jeffries praised Eric Adams's courage and authenticity (!!) while refusing to endorse Mamdani. Again.

These two gotta go.
Are you fuckin happy now, FIRE and you other fake ass free speech warriors? This single event was more verified firings over speech than you featured on your dumb ass website in 20 years. Because of the regime you enabled with your bull shit.

Oh this is how we’re doing science now? Ok cool

“Thomas Smith to link brain worms to being a pathological lying animal murdering sack of useless nepo baby dogshit in a suit.”

I guess I just did a science, make me health secretary.
You cry censorship now that someone was taken off air by government pressure for saying something extremely minor and basically true but WHERE WERE YOU when these other people faced social consequences not from the government for saying disgustingly false racist and/or sexist things? Hypocrite.
They’ve designated antifa as a terrorist organization. In response I’m going to double my monthly donation.

WHO’S WITH ME?
The strategy sure seems to be “If we just give the fascists the authoritarian nightmare state that they want, then they’ll leave us alone.”
The ice caps melt, then they reflect less sun, so the heating gets worse and the ice caps melt more. Just another accelerant. It sure feels like they always go that way. It feels like it's always home field advantage for the worst people. What thinking person has the patience to do this forever?
When the political discourse is SO fucking stupid and monotonous that anyone with an ounce of intelligence or creativity is under constant mental load just by having to exist in this idiocy, that sure is good for the fascists. I doubt it's on purpose. It's like all the climate change feedback loops.
Or is it just a happy coincidence for the fascists. If the people who are really bothered when things don't make any fucking sense or when people are lying, are all out of the conversation for one reason or another, that sure would make life easier for liars, wouldn't it.
I've always been someone who is very bothered by when things don't make sense. Falsehoods and lying and irrationality are just extremely hard to deal with. I'm sure that's a lot of you but it isn't everyone.

Does it feel like this era is almost being engineered to kill us? Is that by design?
This isn't a serious question because we aren't anywhere within 10 astronomical units of doing anything like this. We need way tighter gun laws, but with the way our entire government and supreme court is currently staffed, I'd be thrilled with any small progress on this.
As for the CAUSE of something like this, it's still THE FUCKING GUNS. He was raised in a gun worshipping MAGA family and the gun he used was his grandpa's. Guns are bad.

I still feel unsettled by how the info has been sliced and diced by MAGA with a very clear motive to pin this on the left. But these texts messages at the very least firmly establish the relationship with the roommate and given everything I've seen now, that is probably the most likely motivation.
Well the evidence as they've presented it would strongly indicate that he killed Kirk because of Kirk's anti-LGBT views. I didn't think the memes on the casings were compatible with that theory, but it reads like those were completely unrelated and just something he was doing on a separate occasion.
This person is not well. Holy shit.
