I don’t understand the grift? The big fossil fuel companies have sunk enough into renewables by now that roll backs would be unwelcome - see them having a go at yam tits earlier this year.
Drilling licenses with no oversight yes, but not roll backs of assets already paid for.

Oh that sounds blissfull.
This is a rented house so we can’t do anything like that, plus it’s about 500 years old so we have to be careful with any modifications. The doors have gaps, the windows have gaps, the walls have gaps…

Not having AC, it’s the time of year where I range from the temp being absolutely fine to scrabbling around the house looking for that exactly right sweater.
With electricity prices being what they are and this house being a colander of a building the heating is almost pointless.

Meanwhile in knitting land I finished the Kitty Cat Tote - yay me, doing intarsia! Except I’m not posting a photo until I’ve done the three or four working days worth of sewing in ends it requires.

Quite apart from all the arguments of good v bad (I’m in the BAD camp) - even 34% seems like the kind of paltry numbers that would make sane politicians walk right past the policy.
Making Taylor Swift the queen of England would probably gather more support, and cost less.
