Here in Haines, too. Even after the snow. They’re soggy and not so firm with all the rain we’ve been getting, but still new ones coming up. Most prolific chanterelle year I can remember.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Just explained to my brother's wife that NO we will not have my father—the labor activist—cremated by the funeral home that was responsible for planting dynamite to frame the 1912 Bread & Roses strikers! Dad's lineage is prone to haunting & his death was not peaceful. This is a recipe for haunting!
