Minister of Labour David Piccini handpicked a company – Keel Digital Solutions – to receive funding despite scoring just 59/100. Then came the Paris wedding, the rink-side Leafs seats, and now an OPP investigation.

With all this on the table, how has Doug Ford not fired him?

Re-upping this 🧵 from when Ksi Lisims LNG was given enviro approval.

The downstream emissions from Ksi Lisims will be roughly equivalent to 5% of Canada's TOTAL domestic GHG emissions. This is a carbon bomb - a willful act of arson.

Mark Carney simply does not get the climate emergency... 👇
This Ksi Lisims LNG approval is terrible news.

"It's hard to believe that we're moving ahead in B.C. with climate-destroying LNG projects in the midst of a climate crisis," said Tara Marsden, sustainability director for the Gitanyow hereditary chiefs.

Yup.

Dr. Axworthy has been a staunch supporter of refugee rights and was immigration minister under Pierre Trudeau and, later, under Chretien.

I had the honour to speak to him today at an event in Ottawa. He is quite correct in saying that the US is no longer a safe country for refugees to return to.

It’s not just that investment in AI has inflated a bubble – it’s that the bubble is driving wealth inequality, and billions of dollars of conspicuous consumption.

In other words, we’re living in a new gilded age.
