I will never make fun of anyone for mispronouncing a word because that just means you’ve likely read it but never said it.

NASA moon mission is probably just so they can take all the Epstein files there. Should probably take the Melania movie too.

Whatever you call the end piece (heel, crust, whatever) of a loaf of bread, do you think it’s the best or the worst piece of the loaf? And just know, how you answer will have me judging you so hard but I’m never going to reveal what I think is correct.

What in the actual fuck are we doing Alberta?
Wherein Danielle Smith claims that she has advised Crown Prosecutors not to prosecute gun crimes even if an Alberta Police Officer believes it's necessary...

Claiming there's no linkilhood of conviction because of "Alberta Values".

Someone asked me if I like movies and instinctively I said yes. The problem is I can’t even remember the last movie I watched and they were like what was your favourite in the last year.😬 it ended with them saying “are you sure you like movies” and we laughed but like am I sure? 😂

I love this new thing I’ve developed where I cannot control my body temperature and vacillate between being way too hot or shivering. Totally recommend if you love living in discomfort.

lol @ the conservatives keeping Poilievre as their leader. Being addicted to rage and racism is more important than having a candidate become Prime Minister, I guess.

Might have to see if I can get a copy of this book. Canada has a lot of work to do if we want to present to the world as kind, caring and respectful. Our treatment of migrant workers has already been described by the UN as a “breeding ground for contemporary forms of slavery”.

Everyone should read/listen to this. It’s a good introduction to tactics of self defence wherein violence is being unlawfully perpetrated by militias and law enforcement.

I was watching a show last night and they were lamenting on how no one drinks alcohol any more citing the sharp decline in liquor sales in the U.S. and the closing of the Jim Beam facility. Not once did they mention Canada boycotting. Are Americans just not getting that info?

This is deeply disturbing. No amount of creative genius (and that part's debatable anyway) is worth making a minor endure sexual assault as part of their workday.
Not one Academy voter should vote for Ben Safdie for anything

“Three sources say Josh, who is now vying for this year’s best director Oscar, became aware of the girl’s age on the day of production, shortly after the scene shot, as the traumatized girl spiraled.”

Ok I’m a bit pissed. I got a letter from AHS asking me to participate in some study of “Reproductive health among Survivors of adolescent and young adult cancer” and I’d love to know how they got my information and who gave them that permission and what role the government had in this.

I think I’m now age of mid-life crisis cause I’m really just questioning everything in my life. I wish I were definitively good at something. I feel adrift in my life and I’m not even sure what direction to move. I’m sure the state of world plays a large part but everything feels so wrong these days

I’m probably not gonna say this right but the trauma porn and constant need to counter a lying narrative in all these tragedies seems sick. I get that the idea is to humanize the victims, but for me, it doesn’t matter who they were, there’s no justification for their murder.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Hi, lovely skeeple!

I'm wondering whether any of you follow any good #yoga or #taichi YouTube programs and could recommend something gentle and easy for an absolute beginner.

I'd like something I can do at home that'll help with injury recovery.

Thanks in advance!
