dropped my bookmark on the train, but my arms are too short and i do not bend well so I had to frantically scrabble for it ineffectually for what felt like five minutes while the man sat next to me looked on. so in conclusion, i fear i may need to be taken out back and shot.

didn't know what to do at uni, did a degree in crime scene and forensic science for some reason, got a christmas temp job at waterstones, stayed on as a children's bookseller for the better part of a decade, now i write science books for children
