Hi! I'm Shoona and I'm a cartoonist and illustrator that loves horror, cute things, sharks, and tea :) I have an ongoing horror/drama webcomic called Ghost at the Door

I have an app that blocks YouTube shorts, but it doesn't always work so unfortunately it also turns opening YouTube shorts into a fun little slot machine where the prize it 2 hours of my life vanishing into thin air

Happy #FairyFriday, all! This is, I think, my favorite shot of the entire two day session with Waterbear Photography. I love the pose, the sense of motion, and the illusion of flight, in addition to the Waterhouse/pre-raphealite aesthetic.

Statement from Michael and Susan Pretti Parents of Alex Jeffrey Pretti “We are heartbroken but also very angry. Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the ‘hero’ term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He had his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down, all while being pepper sprayed. Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.

unfortunately taking time off from my non art day job to work on my comic has taught me how quickly I can work if I wasn't trying to squeeze in comic during every free minute I have and now every time I am sad my comic is taking too long bc I am tired and lack free time I will remember this

Something a little different. Some cartoonists put out a call for comics about local ICE experiences. This one happened a few months ago so it's a little older than current events, but it's a story that I never stopped thinking about. #ICEoutcomics

You’re an immigrant.” “Ma’am, I was seven years old.” Then, text at the bottom says: The teen is put into a concrete cell with 35 men. The community rallies behind him.
