I feel as if we've seen these images before--the brutalization of peaceful resisters by a cruel, militarized police force. 2016-2017 Standing Rock, the First Nation-led resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline. From this remove, it looks almost like a testing ground for what is happening now.
