My middle son asked me about why I thought so many people supported 47. What I see is some very privileged, disconnected people acting like brats. They don’t realize they’re breaking down a nation that had potential. They don’t realize how far it can fall and with it all their privileges.

After seeing the horrible event against the Jewish community in Australia yesterday, it feels like a shitty coincidence that I posted my experience and info about gun control there. The small blessing is that the shooters had access to what appeared to be shot guns minimizing death.

416 people total. 1.7 out if 100,000 people were murdered, of those 0.37 per 100,000 by guns. In the US in 2019, there were over 10,000 murders just by firearm. That’s 3.04 per 100,000. 🧵
