I gave this to ChatGPT. Someone should read it from the floor of the House or Senate: "Modernize the Declaration of Independence of July 4 1776 by substituting President Donald Trump's actions for the British government's. Create a list of abuses based on what he has done since January 20, 2025."
So hard to keep track.

It does not matter if we are not signatories, Venezuela is. The ICC could investigate and indict those responsible for any war crimes against Venezuela. No pardon will prevent that.
1. The men and women of the US military are honorable people and didn't ask for this shitshow.
2. Pretty sure they're not eager to be sent to Venezuela.
3. We are not signatories to the Rome Treaty and the ICC.
The United States military has been reduced to a group of war criminals. Stop the nonsense of thanking them for their service. They're simply a bunch of cheap thugs armed by American taxpayers and out to steal the resources of Venezuela. The International Criminal Court is watching.

Venezuela is a signatory to the ICC. The ICC cannot indict Americans who commit crimes on US soil. IANAL but it should be able to investigate charge them for international crimes or crimes against signatories, even if Trump pardons them. Including Hegseth and Trump himself.
However much you hate Bezos, this is a story that needed a whole newsroom and corporate infrastructure to produce.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."

As always well worth the time. Around 8 minutes Max gets into Nvidia, Enron and worrisome financials. Also some great graphs and quotes. You will learn a lot from Max. He is on the Meidas Network also.

The problem in a nutshellll -- committing fraud as a positive way to get to $1 billion.
Founders on LinkedIn still seem to be struggling with the difference between telling people about their humble beginnings and admitting to straight up committing fraud.

Where is Orson Welles when we need him? Who is Orson Welles? The Third Man? Remember? Oh, yeah it is in B&W. Does that matter? But it has an incredible theme song. Oh. What? It is played on a zither. What is a zither? Ummm... Nevermind.
At this point X is like 1950s Vienna, a whole place made up entirely of spies, running ops against other spies, with no non-spy people. Or maybe like a 1971 Black Panthers convention where 3/4 of the attendees are conintelrpo.

This is very true. Particularly the cranks part, who often use debating tricks like the Gish Gallop. Communication is not what the cranks and their supporters want. 'Winning' is more important than truth. They use lawyers against science. We need to do the same against them
Getting legacy media to give air time to actual scientists who can communicate - and there are plenty out there - is incredibly difficult; and they are then set up against cranks whose opinions are supposedly the same value as years of scholarship
Scientists are partly to blame by not learning to effectively communicate in lay language on modern communication channels. That information void is then ripe for disinformation to fill.

Embed lay comms & accessibility skills into academia.

This is the net step and we need to push this hard. There is no reason NOT to get them now, right. Heck, subpoena the banks themselves for the records.

He is basically ensuring premiums will double or even quadruple for millions of Americans.

And the worst price hikes will be in states Trump won!

And then stopped because the DOJ will say that it cannot release anyhting during an investigation or for national security reasons. But it is a start. Now subpoena the financial records from the banks.
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

Contact your Senator. Ask them to support the efforts of Dems on the Senate Finance Committee to subpoena the financial records of Epstein. We already know of 100s of millions that transited his accounts but we need to know where they went. There is no reason now for the GOP majority to refuse.
Congress sent a clear message to the White House: Release the Epstein Files.

It should have never taken this long. Why did Trump fight this for months?

CBS has done great reporting on the many questions from Epstein’s death. The destruction of evidence. Moving the body. Unknown phone calls. Multiple access to the room. His roommate being moved out on the day of his death.
Why would Jeffrey Epstein kill himself in jail if he had this much leverage of the one person who could give him a full pardon?

Why he did not do this 3 months ago? Maybe because of the investigation, DOJ will refuse to release anything. But the Oversight Committee could still subpoena financial records, if the GOP there agrees. That would be fun. We may get to the money laundering faster this way. Oligarchs gona panic then.

I'm sure the people of Colorado are counting the days until he leaves. I have found that so many times these people whine and complain, saying they are leaving. But they seldom do because complaining is who they are.
Sat on the chairlift with a dude who just complained about California the whole ride up, says Colorado is going straight to shit and his next move is Idaho. Just reeked of "stupid white asshole."
