2025 was Round One in the Trump boxing match against reality, and for a time, Trump was winning. Law firms, universities, media companies and cultural institutions capitulated.

Now we’re at the start of Round Two of the boxing match, and I smell something changing. trib.al/Y03U1gU

Trump's allegedly Christian supporters must love it when he mocks the pain of others.
Trump on Renee Good: "When she was shot, there was another woman that was screaming 'Shame. Shame Shame Shame.' So loud. Like a professional opera singer. She was so loud. And so professional. She wasn't a woman that was hurt like, 'Oh my heart is injured.' She was a professional."

If this was your racist grandfather at the dinner table you'd tell him he couldn't come and visit any more if he was going to carry on saying stuff like that. This is mask-off undisguised racism of the ugliest kind.
Trump: "They're paid agitators and insurrectionists. Nobody talks about the fact that $19 billion at a minimum is missing in Minnesota, given to a large degree by Somalians. They've taken it. Somalians. A lot of very low IQ people."

Judge posts job opening for top prosecutor spot that DOJ claims Lindsey Halligan occupies
Though a judge disqualified Halligan from her position, the Justice Department as recently as last week referred to her as the interim U.S. attorney.

Military models Canadian response to hypothetical American invasion
Armed Forces envision insurgency tactics like those used by Afghan mujahedeen, sources say. But officials and experts stress a U.S. operation is unlikely, and the scenarios are conceptual

During Donald's bullsh** 'show & tell' he's admitted that this current illegitimate regime is sending professional agitators into peaceful protests.

Because we know, with this a**hole, every accusation is an admission.

I'd suggest this is polling capturing public opinion coalescing around "Trump has lost it."
Voters think Trump is too old to be president, 50-41

Moderates, 58-30
Independents, 50-29
15% of Trump voters

The basic premise of centrist advice urging Dems to stand down on immigration has been the idea that Trump was *in some sense or other right* about the issue, but he was not and is not in any sense right and the public is recoiling in horror at what they're seeing
yes, both centrists & the admin (&, tacility, ice thugs on the ground) bought the 'post-liberal' narrative - that no one *really* believes in it anymore

they thought we'd cower in the face of violence & don't have an answer for liberalism's resilience
