If this was happening in any other country you'd have journalists and analysts discussing risks of state failure

I’m writing to let you know that today (Oct 11th) our team will release a major report. It covers nearly a decade of tank production across various variants. This document-based report will uncover Russian plans to expand and modernize its tank fleet. I hope you’ll have a chance to read and share it

In fact, the Finnish military intelligence did not really exist officially until the 1990s, when its personnel were first allowed to tell their families what kind of work they were actually doing.

It publishing official reports is really a very new thing. puolustusvoimat.fi/-/sotilastie...

Russian propagandists want Ukraine and Europe to pay reparations to Russia.

"And what reparations could Ukraine pay? Belgium will pay. France will pay. The Netherlands, too."

"Well, we’ll go after Belgium, France. We know perfectly well how this will end."

"We’ll pursue it at a military tribunal"

Because the Global Financial Crisis and the Eurozone Crisis that followed have largely been memory holed 20 years later, a friendly reminder that after economic destabilisation the crises then ran out of control because of political failures such as TARP delay and slow Eurozone state responses

That TikTok account has a few fake videos of reporters getting detained. They make these videos because it’s a big story in the news. Real reporters are getting arrested. And so people are making AI videos to get engagement on TikTok.

October 11th. Fifteen years ago today I had my first day of work with a little game dev team in Austin, Texas called Arkane Studios. They were just gearing up full production on a new game in a new IP, called Dishonored.

I was terrified. 1/24

russia took most of Belarus heavy equipment and is heavily involved in the armed forces coordination and leadership. An argument could be made the Belarusian army exists on paper only (and that is by russian design).

I think the reason is because they saw what arrogance lead to in Ukraine. 👍

This is like disbanding your military during World War Two.

The Trump regime is firing many of the 2,540 employee of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) during the ongoing government shutdown. Why? CISA dismissed Trump’s allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Cybersecurity agency that clashed with Trump one of the first hit with federal firings due to government shutdown
CISA plans to keep just 889 employees on duty during a shutdown while furloughing 65% of its workforce.
