Awesome stuff by these colleagues! Right up my alley. 👏

There are three categories of Trump transgressions. The first are bad things he does, which must be highlighted in all their harms to voters. The second is bad things he says, which while harmful to the culture we are better ignoring. But the third, here, are bad things he proposes. 1/n
the constitution is a public and political document as much as a legal one and constitutional meaning is a public and political process. trump can say X but other political institutions, and the nation’s various publics, have to agree for it to mean anything

We're trying to see if there's a regional aspect to this, so if you've got instagram and want to help out, could you check these hashtags, and report back the result along with which country you're in? #bluewave #democrat #voteblue #dnc #January6 #jan6 #j6ers #capitolattack #obama #biden #pelosi
Searching #liberal or #democrat on Instagram now returns "We've hidden these results", #Republican has no such problem. Seems bad.

Is anyone crowdsourcing 1) which search terms/content this is affecting and 2) which countries this is occurring in?

Is this happening on all #Meta platforms?
Also for the international crowd: #Instagram censors “Democrat” as a search term, while allowing “Republican” and seems to prioritize anti-leftwing content in search queries for alternative search terms. #DSA

Fact-checking wasn’t “biased” against conservatives. Conservatives just shared more false content. If there’s a sportsball game and one team fouls four times as much, it’s not “biased” for the ref to call four times as many fouls against that team.

Meta is dropping fact-checking to avoid anti-conservative bias- but is there actually evidence of bias?
We this test empirically & find that conservatives

So suspension isn't necessarily evidence of bias www.nature.com/articles/s41...
