“Starmer urges Europe’s leaders to curb ECHR”

An absolutely shocking headline and not what I expected from a Labour government.

The Prime Minister won’t achieve ‘decency’ over ‘division’ by trying to be Reform Lite

Starmer urges Europe’s leaders to curb ECHR to halt rise of far right
Exclusive: PM calls for members of European convention on human rights to allow tougher action to protect borders

Today marks 25 years of offshore wind power: an initiative that reduced the UK’s spending on imported fuels by up to £30bn.

Without wind power the country would’ve imported & burned over 20 million tonnes of gas over the last 25 years.

Wind works 🌬️ For the climate and the economy.

Absolutely no self awareness Liz Lettuce.
Great from @roberthutton.co.uk on the Truss clown-car, as she repeatedly drives it into the wall of shame.
This time with her own YouTube show. Most of us would have tired of the indelible humiliation by now. Not Liz.

Another photobook, this time gathering together the B&W film photographs from the bits of my cycling holiday when I wasn't on the bike! At 24 pages and about three and a half metres long, it's an easier print job than the 7m+ Marginal. It'll be on sale at next year's #yorkopenstudios

I see Reform have found room for Primark Hodor. He'll feel right at home. Gullis is so heroically stupid it's like he’s been bitten by a radioactive idiot. A discarded early draft of Chewbacca that someone dragged out of the bin and taught rudimentary table manners.

Excellent @monkemma.bsky.social - just in case anyone was momentarily tempted to believe this sob story.
Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

#York is facing the same issues though the university doesn't have much direct affect on the city other than the amount of student housing going up. A tourist tax will be approved but residents will be very disappointed if it's spent on more tourist attractions. @philbixby.bsky.social

Seen a different version of this, where one of these blocks a wheelchair user from passing, even though the side walk is WIDE ENOUGH to pass
Just as you thought food delivery companies couldn't inflict any more misery on society:

Instead of using lowly-paid gig economy contractors to deliver groceries, they're replacing humans with robots, who, in turn, force humans off the pavement into road traffic.

Yey! But it still needs a final push to get over 100k so it can be debated in Westminster Hall.

Please sign if you haven’t already & share 👍🙏😊

Let’s help break the ‘omerta’ & oft right wing media & political silence on Russian interference in Uk politics & at least get MPs to debate the issue 👇
🚨BOOM! The Petition calling for a public inquiry into Russian influence on UK politics & democracy has now rocketed past 80,000 signatures! Let’s get it to 100,000 this weekend. If a petition is what it’s going to take let’s get this done!

Lino Print of the Week 🌾

No Black Friday deals here!

Just me, some ink, and a roller. No flash sales, no countdown timers, just slow art, made the slow way.

If you can, please sprinkle a bit of your spend towards small businesses and creatives.

It honestly makes such a difference.

Thank you x
